Butchers’ Summit, the retail meat sectors’ annual conference.

Purpose

The Butchers' Summit aims to provide a platform for our members to network, foster relationships and create longstanding industry connections. Our speakers will engage with topics of today and the future, to challenge, motivate, and inspire new ideas and fresh perspectives, allowing delegates to apply new insights in their businesses, to maximise their successes.

Our delegates include independent butchers, supermarket butchery managers, wholesalers, processors, and industry suppliers, making this one of the most significant networking opportunities for our retail meat sector.

Format

We’ve changed up the format this year, with the dinner now taking place on the Thursday evening. We also have the Thursday morning activity and for the first time, we are including a workshop before the conference commences. Friday is a full day and, we will finish late afternoon, with an optional networking drinks on offer for Friday evening.

Networking

Our networking lineup features golf at Titirangi Golf Course on Thursday morning, and the Balancing Act workshop in the early afternoon on the same day. The Locker Room Meat Up welcome drinks plus conference dinner on Thursday evening and the optional Behemoth conference afterparty post-conference on Friday evening.

Location: Eden Park, Gate G, Reimers Avenue, Kingsland, Auckland

Registration: Thurs 9 May 2024 at 3 pm we will aim to finish up at 4 pm on Friday.

Parking: Free parking is available onsite.

Optional Activity: 7 holes of golf at the Titirangi Golf Course on Thurs, 9 May, 9.30 am tee off. $70+gst golf fees + $20+gst return transport to hotel.

Optional Workshop: The Balancing Act on Thurs, 9 May 2024, from 1.30-3.00 pm. $50+gst

Conference Dinner: Eden Park on Thursday evening. This is included in the conference ticket fee. You can purchase additional dinner tickets for $120+gst if you have any partners who would like to join.

Behemoth Brewing Afterparty: Behemoth Brewing is hosting a conference afterparty at Churly’s Brew Pub (10 min walk from Eden Park) from 4 pm onwards on Friday.
